Perform the following steps to remove the front grille emblem:

1. Use a heat gun.
2. Hold the heat gun at least 152 mm (6 in) from the emblem.
3. Move the heat gun in a circular motion.
4. Use a plastic flat bladed tool to peel the emblem from the grille.
5. Use a suitable solvent of isopropyl alcohol 50/50 mixture by volume with water or with a high flash naphtha to clean the area.

Perform the following steps to install the front grille emblem:

1. The front grille and the front grille emblem temperature must be 26°C (80°F) minimum or 6°C (10°F) above the ambient air temperature, whichever is higher. DO NOT exceed 40°C (105°F) during the installation of the front grille emblem.
2. Remove the backing.



3. Position the front grille emblem directly over the molded wreath and crest on the grille.
4. Press the front grille emblem to secure.
