The following is contained in this circuit:

    • The LH and RH front side door window switches.
    • The LH and RH rear side door power window switches.
    • A rear window lockout switch for the rear windows.
    • Four side door window regulator motors..

Fuse #1 supplies B+ to the LH and RH front side door window regulator motors. Fuse #7 supplies B+ to the LH and RH rear side door window regulator motors. Fuse #1 also supplies B+ to the LH front side door window switch when the ignition switch is in the ON position.

Each window lifter contains a built-in programmable module to program the following features:

    • To program the end stops.
    • To invoke the pinch guard feature when necessary.
    • To stop the power windows operation when any door is open.

An input from all the doors is supplied to the LH front side door window switch. When the LH front side door senses that any door is open, it disables all of the side door window switches and all of the power windows become disabled.

The LH and the RH front side door window switches are located in the center console. These switches operate all the windows and includes a rear window lockout switch for the rear windows. In addition, switches are located in the rear doors to operate the rear windows. The rear window switches are operational only when the rear window lockout switch is in the UNLOCK position.

The power windows are enabled until any door is opened when the ignition switch is turned to the OFF position. The power windows become disabled after any door is opened.

The power windows also have an express UP and express DOWN feature. By pressing and holding any window switch in either the UP or DOWN position, the express feature will be activated.
