Tools Required

J 42081 Door Hinge Pin Remover and Installer

1. Tape the edge of the door and the fender.



2. Remove the rubber conduit from lower center pillar.
3. Disconnect all wiring harness connectors.
4. Remove the wiring harness from the center pillar.
5. Brace the door with a suitable support.



6. Remove the hinge pins using J 42081.
7. Remove the check link. Refer to Rear Side Door Check Link Replacement .
8. Remove the door with the aid of an assistant.

1. Install the door with the aid of an assistant.
2. Install the check link. Refer to Rear Side Door Check Link Replacement .



3. Install the hinge pins using J 42081.
4. Remove the support.
5. Inspect the door alignment to the body.



6. Connect all wiring harness connectors.

Install the wiring harness on the center pillar.

7. Install the rubber conduit to lower center pillar to door.
8. Remove the tape from the edge of the door and the fender.
