- Connect the scan tool to the Data Link Connector (DLC).
- Select TIP SWITCH R.
- Press and hold the RESUME/DECEL button.
Does the scan tool display ACTIVE?

- Check for a poor connection at the cruise control module connector
terminal C.
- Replace the cruise control module if the cruise control module
connector terminal C is OK.

- Disconnect the connector from the cruise control switch.
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
- Connect a fused jumper wire across terminal B and terminal C of
the connector.

- Locate an open circuit between S200 and terminal C of the module
connector.
- Repair the open circuit between S200 and terminal C of the module
connector.
