1. Disconnect the cruise control module connector.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

1. Locate a short to ground in circuit XP950.
2. Repair the short to ground in circuit XP950.
3. Replace the instrument cluster if circuit XP950 is OK. Refer to Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.

Replace the cruise control module.

1. Connect all connectors and components that were disconnected.
2. Verify that the cruise control indicator lamp operates properly.
