Speedometer/Tachometer Removal Procedure
- Remove the instrument cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement
- Remove the screws from speedometer/tachometer gauge module.
- Remove the speedometer/tachometer gauge module from lens by pulling locking tabs back and removing.
Speedometer/Tachometer Installation Procedure
- Install the speedometer/tachometer gauge module to cluster lens.
- Install the screws to speedometer/tachometer gauge module.
- Install the instrument cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement
Tighten
Tighten the screws until fully seated but not stripped.
Voltage/Oil Pressure Gauge Removal Procedure
- Remove the Instrument cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement
- Remove the screws from voltage/oil pressure gauge module.
- Remove the voltage/oil pressure gauge module from lens by pulling locking the tabs back and removing.
Voltage/Oil Pressure Gauge Installation Procedure
- Install the voltage/oil pressure gauge module to lens.
- Install the screws to voltage/oil pressure gauge module.
- Install the instrument cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement
Tighten
Tighten the screws until fully seated but not stripped. Refer to
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
