Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 245689  Size: SH
  1. Remove the instrument cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .
  2. Remove the screws from the voltage/oil pressure gauge module.
  3. Remove the voltage/oil pressure gauge module from the cluster lens by pulling back the locking tabs and lifting.

  4. Object Number: 428421  Size: SH
  5. Remove the screws from the speedometer/tachometer gauge module.

  6. Object Number: 428417  Size: SH
  7. Remove the speedometer/tachometer gauge module from the cluster lens by pulling back the locking tabs and lifting.

  8. Object Number: 428352  Size: SH
  9. Replace the lens.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 428417  Size: SH

    Important: Snap the locking tabs firmly into position on the module.

  1. Install the speedometer/tachometer gauge module to the cluster lens.

  2. Object Number: 428421  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the screws to the speedometer/tachometer gauge module.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the screws until fully seated but not stripped.

  5. Install the voltage/oil pressure gauge module to the cluster lens.
  6. Install the screws to the voltage/oil pressure gauge module.
  7. Tighten
    Tighten the screws until fully seated but not stripped.

  8. Install the instrument cluster. Refer to Instrument Cluster Replacement .
