Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.

  2. Object Number: 159409  Size: SH
  3. Remove the corning lamp socket from the fog and cornering lamp.
  4. Remove the wire harness from the loom on the fog and cornering lamp.
  5. Cut the plastic tie-wrap to remove the connector from the fog and cornering lamp.

  6. Object Number: 159412  Size: SH
  7. Remove the electrical connection from the fog and cornering lamp.
  8. Remove the screws from the fog and cornering lamp.
  9. Remove the fog and corning lamp.
  10. Transfer the fog lamp bulb.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 159412  Size: SH
  1. Install the fog and cornering lamp.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the fog and cornering lamp screws.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the fog and cornering lamp screws until fully seated. Ensure not to strip the fog and cornering lamps screws.

  5. Install the electrical connection to the fog and cornering lamp.
  6. Use plastic tie-wrap to secure the connector to the fog and cornering lamp.
  7. Install the wire harness to the loom on the fog and cornering lamp.

  9. Install the cornering lamp socket to the fog and cornering lamp.
  10. Lower the vehicle.
