- Disconnect the BCM connector C2.
- Use the DMM to measure the resistance between terminal D7 of the
BCM connector C2 and terminal C1 of the rear compartment courtesy lamp switch
connector.
Is the measured resistance within the specified value?
| Less than 5 ohms

- Locate an open or a high resistance in circuits XM8 and/or XM9.
- Repair the open or the high resistance in circuits XM8 and/or
XM9.

- Connect the rear compartment courtesy lamp switch.
- Disconnect the rear compartment courtesy lamp.
- Use the DMM to measure the voltage between terminal C1 of the

- Repair the open in circuits XP982 and/or XP1.
- If these circuits are OK, replace the rear compartment courtesy
