Removal Installation
- Remove the front ashtray. Refer to
Console Ashtray/Lighter Replacement
- Remove the radio bezel screw covers.
- Remove the traction control switch cover and the hazard switch
cover.
- Remove the following components from bezel:
- Remove the traction control switch and hazard switch from bezel
by depressing tabs and pull out.
- Remove the radio bezel
screws
Important: Mark the position of the traction control and hazard switch electrical
connectors before removing from the radio trim bezel for reinstallation.
- Remove the traction control and hazard switch electrical connectors
from the bezel by sliding out.
- Remove the ashtray electrical connector from the bezel.
- Remove the radio bezel from Instrument Panel (I/P).
Installation Procedure
- Install the ashtray electrical connector from the bezel.
- Instyall the traction control and hazard switch electrical connectors
to the radio trim bezel by sliding in place.
- Install the radio bezel to I/P.
- Install the radio bezel
screws.
Tighten
Tighten the radio bezel screws until fully seated but not stripped.

Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

- Install the radio bezel screw covers.
- Install the traction control switch and the hazard switch to bezel.
- Install the following components to bezel:
- Install the traction control switch cover and the hazard switch
cover.
- Install the front ashtray. Refer to
