Upper Console Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front floor console storage bin. Refer to Front Floor Console Compartment Replacement
  2. Remove the front floor console rear vent housing from the console. Refer to Floor Air Outlet Duct Replacement

  3. Object Number: 441106  Size: SH
  4. Remove the park brake boot.

  5. Object Number: 440962  Size: SH
  6. Remove the screw from the front of the floor upper console.

  7. Object Number: 441108  Size: SH
  8. Remove the bolts from the front floor upper console.
  9. Remove the front floor upper console.

Lower Console Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the shift indicator, power window switch and the winter mode switch from the lower console. Refer to Console Switch Housing Replacement .

  2. Object Number: 245728  Size: SH
  3. Remove the front floor lower console trim plate screws.
  4. Remove the front floor lower console trim plate.

  5. Object Number: 245730  Size: SH
  6. Remove the front floor lower console bolts from lower console.
  7. Remove the front floor lower console.

Lower Console Installation Procedure

  1. Install the front floor lower console into mounting position.

  2. Object Number: 245730  Size: SH
  3. Install the front floor lower console bolts.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the front floor lower console bolts until fully seated but not stripped. Refer to

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the front floor lower console trim panel.
  6. Install the front floor lower console trim panel screws.
  7. Tighten
    Tighten the front floor lower console trim panel screws until fully seated but not stripped.

  8. Install the shift indicator, power window switch and the winter mode switch from the lower console. Refer to Console Switch Housing Replacement .

Upper Console Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 440962  Size: SH
  1. Install the front floor upper console into mounting position.
  2. Install the screw to front of upper console.
  3. Tighten
    Tighten the screw until fully seated but not stripped. Refer to

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure.   4. Install the bolts to front floor upper console.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts until fully seated but not stripped.

  7. Install the front floor console rear vent housing to console. Refer to Floor Air Outlet Duct Replacement
  8. Install the front floor console storage bin. Refer to Front Floor Console Compartment Replacement
