Removal Procedure

    Caution: To help avoid personal injury when a vehicle is on a hoist, provide additional support for the vehicle at the opposite end from which components are being removed. This will reduce the possibility of the vehicle falling off the hoist.

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the stabilizer shaft. You can replace the stabilizer shaft bushings without removing the stabilizer shaft from the vehicle underbody after you lower the rear axle cradle. Refer to Stabilizer Shaft Replacement .

  3. Object Number: 205666  Size: SH
  4. Remove the bracket from the stabilizer shaft.
  5. Remove the bushing from the stabilizer shaft.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 205666  Size: SH
  1. Install the bushing to the stabilizer shaft.
  2. Install the bracket to the stabilizer shaft.
  3. Install the stabilizer shaft. Refer to Stabilizer Shaft Replacement .
  4. Lower the vehicle.
  5. Adjust the rear toe to specification. Refer to Rear Toe Adjustment in Tires and Wheels.
