A fully independent rear suspension reduces the ride effects of uneven road surfaces because each side of the suspension reacts independently to the other.
The rear differential is isolated from the vehicle body by rubber bushings at all mounting points. The rear differential is supported by the rear axle cradle. The rear axle cradle is completely isolated from the vehicle body by rubber bushings. This design effectively dampens road imperfections and vibration transferred to the vehicle body.
A rear stabilizer shaft is utilized in order to minimize sway during cornering. The stabilizer shaft is mounted to the top of the rear axle cradle by means of rubber bushings. The stabilizer shafts are connected to the rear lower control arms with links.
This vehicle utilizes sealed tie rod ends and wheel bearings, therefore lubrication is not needed. The rear toe is independently adjustable using a fixed inner and outer tie rod with an adjustable sleeve connecting them together.
