Lower Control Arm Bushings

This vehicle utilizes silcone-filled hydro-bushings in the front lower control arms. This specially calibrated bushing improves control while braking by causing a precalibrated level of toe-in to occur at the relevant wheel under heavy braking. This independent toe angle change at each wheel improves control when braking with split-road friction conditions (dry pavement one side and ice on the other).

The hydro-bushings also limit the impact of road input and/or tire imbalance.

Struts

The McPherson strut front suspension utilizes a gas charged strut to provide a consistent ride through all road characteristics.

Front Stabilizer Shaft

The front stabilizer shaft measures at 26 mm (1.02 in). The front stabilizer shaft attaches to the front crossmember frame by two rubber bushings and attaches to the struts via links.

The direct attachment to the struts, verses attachment to the lower control arms, minimizes roll and provides exceptional stability and weight transfer during turns.
