Secondary Air Injection Check Valve and Check Valve Pipe Replacement Bank 1 and 2

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 61650 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the air hoses.
  2. Remove the AIR check valve (3).
  3. Remove the upper exhaust manifold heat shield.
  4. Remove the AIR pipe from the exhaust manifold.
    5. • Air pipe Bank 1 (1)
    • Air pipe Bank (2)
    • Air pipe Center (4)

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 61650 Size: SH

    Important: Before installing the AIR pipes, always use anti-seize compound 5613695 or equivalent.

  1. Install the AIR pipe from the exhaust manifold.
    2. • Air pipe Bank 1 (1)
    • Air pipe Bank (2)
    • Air pipe Center (4)
  2. Install the upper exhaust manifold heat shield.
  3. Install the AIR check valve (3).
  4. Reconnect the air hoses.
