Removal Procedure

    Caution: Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the OFF or LOCK position, and all electrical loads must be OFF before servicing any electrical component. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to the vehicle or its components.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Loosen the fuel filler cap in order to relieve the system pressure.
  3. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  4. Remove the right front wheel.
  5. Remove the right front inner fender well.

  7. Disconnect the quick connect fittings from the EVAP canister (4).
  8. • The EVAP Purge line (1)
    • The EVAP Vent line (2)
    • The EVAP Vapor line (3)
  9. Remove the mounting clamp from the EVAP canister.
  10. Remove the EVAP canister.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 60910  Size: SH
  1. Install the EVAP canister (4).
  2. Install/tighten the mounting clamp.
  3. Reconnect the quick connect fittings to the EVAP canister.
  4. • The EVAP Purge line (1)
    • The EVAP Vent line (2)
    • The EVAP Vapor line (3)
  5. Install the right front wheel.
  6. Install the right front inner fender well.
  7. Lower the vehicle.
  8. Reconnect the negative battery cable.
  9. Tighten the fuel filler cap.
