Rerpair Procedure


    Object Number: 790004  Size: SH
  1. Insert a small screwdriver into the bottom access hole (1) in the side covers in order to release the locking tabs.

  2. Object Number: 789866  Size: SH
  3. Release the tabs (1) secureing the top cover.

  4. Object Number: 790010  Size: SH
  5. Remove the screws (1) securing the armrest to the console.

  6. Object Number: 790008  Size: SH
  7. Remove the screws (1) retaining the armrest to the console tray.
  8. Remove the armrest.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the armrest.

  2. Object Number: 790008  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the screws (1) securing the armrest to the console tray.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  5. Install the screws (1) securing the armrest to the console.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).


    Object Number: 789866  Size: SH
  7. Install the top cover.
  8. Insure the tabs (1) secureing the top cover are locked into place.
  9. Install the side covers.
