Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 819416 Size: SH
  1. Loosen the 2 screws located at the top of the air cleaner assembly.
  2. Separate the 2 air cleaner assembly halves.
  3. Lift the air cleaner element from the assembly.
  4. Reset the air cleaner element indicator, by pushing upward from the bottom.

Installation Procedure
  1. Clean out all traces of dirt and other contaminants from the air cleaner base and lid.

    2. Object Number: 819427 Size: SH
  2. Place the air cleaner element between the assembly halves with the 2 locating tabs positioned down.

    3. Object Number: 819416 Size: SH

    Important: Ensure that the air cleaner assembly halves are properly fitted to each other.

  3. Join the 2 air cleaner assembly halves.

    4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  4. Tighten the 2 air cleaner element screws.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the air cleaner element screws to 8 N·m (71 lb in).
