Makes 🢒 Cadillac 🢒 2003 🢒 CTS - RHD 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Controls - 2.6L and 3.2L 🢒 Intake Plenum Switchover Valve Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the intake plenum. Refer to Intake Plenum Replacement in Engine Mechanical-2.6L and 3.2L.

    2. Object Number: 819410 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the intake plenum switchover valve.
  3. Remove the intake plenum switchover valve bolts.
  4. Remove the intake plenum switchover valve and O-ring seal from the intake plenum.

    5. Discard the O-ring seal.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 819410 Size: SH

    Important: Ensure the O-ring Discard the O-ring seal is properly positioned to the switchover valve.

  1. Install the intake plenum switchover valve with O-ring seal into the intake plenum.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the intake plenum switchover valve bolts.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the intake plenum switchover valve bolts to 8 N·m (71 lb in).

  3. Connect the vacuum hose to the intake plenum switchover valve.
  4. Install the intake plenum. Refer to Intake Plenum Replacement in Engine Mechanical-2.6L and 3.2L.
