1	Steering Column Upper Shroud Tip Detach the steering column housing cover from the steering column upper shroud before attempting removal.
2	Steering Column Key Release Lever Knob Procedure To release the key release lever knob push a pick type tool into the access hole on the ignition and start switch housing while pulling on the knob. Tip The lower steering column shroud pieces are shown pulled away from the steering column for clarity. It is not necessary to remove them.

Procedure
