Lateral Acceleration | Lateral acceleration is a measure of how hard a vehicle is taking a corner. The electronic brake control module (EBCM) calculates the lateral acceleration during vehicle turns as part of the vehicle stability enhancement system (VSES). Lateral acceleration which is acceleration due to gravity is measured in a g. The lateral acceleration display in the message center measures from 0.00 g up to 1.2 g.
