Preliminary Procedure

1. Remove the right rear compartment trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim Panel Replacement.
2. Disconnect the navigation antenna coxialial cable from the communication interface module.
3. Remove the right body side rear upper garnish molding. Refer to Body Side Rear Upper Garnish Molding Replacement.
4. Lower the rear of the headliner enough to gain excess to the digital radio/vehicle location antenna base.
5. Disconnect the navigation antenna coxial cable from the digital radio/vehicle location antenna base.

Navigation Antenna coxial Cable

Procedure

1. Route the new navigation antenna coxial cable along the edge of the body wiring harness.
2. Secure the navigation antenna coxial cable to the body harness using tie strap or electrical tape.
3. Connect the navigation antenna coxial cable to the digital radio/vehicle location antenna base and the communication interface module.
