3.6L LY7 Engine - A Reduced Engine Power Complaint Setting Throttle Codes - P0121 P0221 P2119 P2122 P2138 P2176 - kw accelerate body connector driveability ECM inoperative intermittent LY7 light loss

When servicing the vehicle with the VIN you entered, the following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the described symptoms.

A Reduced Engine Power complaint or MIL\DTCs P0121, P0221, P2119, P2122, P2138, P2176 are set.

The condition could be intermittent with the combination of the following DTCs: P0121, P0221, P2119, P2122, P2138, and P2176. Use SI document I.D. number 303631, testing for intermittent and poor connections at the ECM, APP Sensor , and Throttle Body. Before following the diagnostic charts for the throttle codes, try wiggling the throttle body harness connector at the throttle body. By manipulating throttle body harness connector, see if you can duplicate the concern. If the concern can be duplicated then replace the throttle body harness connector. Use throttle body connector P/N 15306420; it is a kit. The kit includes the throttle body connector with six new wire leads with all the correct terminals and connectors to splice the jumper kit to the original harness. If the throttle body connector is okay, then check the ECM and the APP sensor terminal tension at the connector(s). Again use SI Document I.D. number 303631 for further assistance in checking the terminal drag on the pins. If NTF at the ECM or APP sensor, refer back to the diagnostic code or codes for this concern.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
