Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement LY7

Tools Required

J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers

1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
2. Position J 38185 to the clamp in order to remove the radiator outlet hose (1) from the cooling pipe.



3. Remove the hose from the vehicle.

1. Position the radiator output hose into the vehicle.



2. Position J 38185 to the clamp in order to connect the hose to the radiator.



3. Position J 38185 to the clamp in order to connect the hose (1) to the cooling pipe.
4. Install the air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement in Body Front End.
5. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .

Tools Required

J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers

1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
2. Position the J 38185 to the clamp in order to remove the radiator outlet hose (1) from the cooling pipe.
3. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.



4. Position the J 37097-A to the clamp (2) in order to remove the hose (1) from the radiator.
5. Remove the hose from the vehicle.

1. Position the radiator outlet hose into the vehicle.



2. Position the J 38185 to the clamp (2) in order to connect the hose (1) to the radiator.
3. Install the air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement in Body Front End.



4. Position the J 38185 to the clamp in order to connect the hose (1) to the cooling pipe.
5. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .

1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
2. Position J 38185 to the clamp in order to remove the radiator outlet hose (2) from the engine.



3. Position J 38185 to the clamp in order to remove the radiator outlet hose from the radiator.
4. Remove the hose from the vehicle.

1. Position the radiator output hose into the vehicle.



2. Position J 38185 to the clamp in order to connect the hose to the radiator.



3. Position J 38185 to the clamp in order to connect the hose (2) to the engine.
4. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
