FUEL FILLER DOOR DOESN'T OPEN PROPERLY

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1987 ALLANTE ------------------ Some Allantes may experience a condition of the fuel filler door not springing open when the release button is pressed. This condition may be caused by a missing "n-shaped" assist spring contained in the latch assembly. To repair this condition, install a new assist spring, P/N 20355094, as shown in Figure 1.

Use the most applicable labour operation from the Canadian Labour Time Guide and claim 0.2 hours.
