ALLANTE ASSURANCE PLAN LIMITED WARRANTY

Recently, Cadillac announced an unprecedented 7 year/100,000 mile Allante Assurance Plan Limited Warranty. This Assurance Plan provides the first retail purchaser coverage, not only for repairs resulting from defects in material or workmanship, but also provides supplemental coverage to correct any part that does not function in normal service for any reason. As a result, there will be some warranty administration procedural differences in processing warranty claims unique to the Allante. Following is a detailed description of the Allante Assurance Plan coverages and warranty claim processing details:

o Basic Coverage Covers the entire vehicle, except tires, for 12 months/12,000 miles with no deductible.

o Supplemental Following expiration of the Basic Coverage, the entire Coverage vehicle, except for the following components, is covered up to 7 years/100,000 miles with a $25 deductible after the 12/12.

o Glass and lenses o Moldings and bright metal o Light bulbs o Paint o Trim and upholstery o Exhaust system o Brake rotors & pads o Normal maintenance o Battery parts and service o Tires (covered by the o Electrical components tire manufacturer) (covered separately)

o Electronic Eligible electronic components are covered up to 7 Component years/100,000 miles with no deductible up to 5 years/50,000 Coverage miles. Repairs after 5 years/50,000 miles will be subject to a $25 deductible.

o Emission Eligible components are covered for 5 years/50,000 miles Component with no deductible. Supplemental coverage continues to Coverage cover emission components (except exhaust system) up to 7 years/100,000 miles with a $25 deductible after 5/50.

o Vehicle Rental Rental is covered up to $50 per day and up to a total of $500 per repair visit whenever repairs covered by the Assurance Plan require either 2.0 or more Cadillac Labor Time hours or if the Allante must be kept overnight. This rental provision even applies during repairs to paint or interior trim during the 12 month/12,000 mile Basic Coverage period.

o Towing Towing is covered to the nearest Cadillac dealership for up to $100 per occurrence for any disablement covered by the Assurance Plan for 7 years/100,000 miles.

o Emergency Road Labor performed at the scene due to any covered failure Service is covered up to $100 per occurrence for 7 years/100,000 miles.

o Towing & Labor performed at the scene is covered up to a combined Emergency total of $100 per ANY disablement (except accidents and Road Service misuse) during the 12 month/12,000 mile Assurance Plan Basic Coverage period. This includes such items as running out of fuel, flat tires, lost keys, etc. .

o Corrosion Repair of any body panel is covered for 7 years or (Rust Through) 100,000 miles with no deductible. Coverage

Warranty Claim Processing Procedures

The following warranty claim submission procedures will be unique to the Allante. They are different from the current procedure in that the Rental, Towing and Emergency Road Service expense must be submitted as a separate line from the repair line using the following labor code:

o Rental Expense T6850 o Towing T6860 o Emergency Road Service T6870

For example, if a repair order involves the replacement of a defective starter motor and the vehicle required towing, the claim submission would consist of two lines; one line for the starter replacement and the second line for the towing using T6860.

Other than using the special labor codes for rentals, towing and emergency road service, Allante warranty claims are submitted in the normal manner.

Subsequent Ownership

Second retail purchasers may obtain the unexpired Allante Assurance Plan coverage provided to first retail purchasers by completingg a transfer application included in the Assurance Plan booklet and mailing it with a transfer fee within 90 days of the date of purchase to the GM Warranty Transfer Center. Second retail purchasers who transfer Assurance Plan coverage will be issued a transfer identification card which must be presented along with personal identification to verify eligibility and ownership when requesting repairs covered under the Assurance Plan.

Second retail purchasers who DO NOT transfer first purchaser Assurance Plan coverage and all subsequent purchasers receive, at no charge, the following unexpired Limited Warranty coverage. This Allante Limited Warranty provides for repairs to correct any malfunction resulting from defects in material or workmanship.

Basic Coverage The entire vehicle, except tires, is covered for 12 months/12,000 miles with no deductible.

Air Conditioning The seated refrigerant portion of the air conditioning system is covered for 12 months, regardless of mileage, with no deductible.

Powertrain Following expiration of Basic Coverage, and subject to a Coverage $100 deductible, powertrain components are covered up to 36 months/36,000 miles.

Electronic 5 years/50,000 miles with no deductible. Components

Emission 5 years/50,000 miles with no deductible. Components Towing Is covered to the nearest Cadillac dealership, with no deductible, whenever it is required due to an item covered by the Limited Warranty.

Corrosion (Rust Repair of any body panel is covered for 7 years/100,000 Through) Coverage miles with no deductible.

It is essential that all affected personnel within the dealership are fully acquainted with both the Allante Assurance Plan Limited Warranty and the Allante Limited Warranty.
