ROUGH IDLE AND LOW SPEED DRIVEABILITY

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1984 Pontiac and Buick 'J' Models Equipped With 1.8L Turbo Engines (VIN Code 'J')

Some 1984 'J' models equipped with 1.8L - Turbo engines may exhibit rough idle and low speed driveability. (rough idle, idle instability, engine stop running) that cannot be repaired with currently published diagnostic and service information.

If such a condition is encountered a new service prom should be installed (Parts listed below).
