WHEN REMOVING A TRANSMISSION FOR SERVICE AND THE CONNECTOR IS STUCK ON THE TRANSMISSION RANGE SWITCH AND CANNOT BE REMOVED.
THE CONNECTOR AND SWITCH MAY HAVE BECOME PERMANENTLY SEALED TOGETHER DUE TO HARDENING OF THE DIELECTRIC LUBRICANT.
PRIOR TO PERFORMING ANY TRANSMISSION REMOVAL, REMOVE THE SWITCH FROM THE TRANSMISSION LEAVING THE ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR ATTACHED TO THE SWITCH. THIS WILL PREVENT DAMAGE TO THE SWITCH OR CONNECTOR.
