Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 284179 Size: SH
  1. Remove the cargo net from the retainers (4).
  2. Remove the push-in retainers (2) from the sill plate (1).
  3. Remove the screws (7) that retain the top edge of the sill plate (1).
  4. Remove the sill plate (1) from the vehicle.
  5. Remove the push-in retainers (2).
  6. Remove the cargo net retainers (4).
  7. Remove the rear trim (3) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 284179 Size: SH
  1. Install the rear trim (3) to the vehicle.
  2. Install the push-in retainers (2).
  3. Install the cargo net retainers (4).
  4. Install the sill plate (1) to the vehicle.

    5. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the screw (7) in order to retain the top edge of the sill plate (1).

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the screws (7) to 1.9 N·m (17 lb in).

  6. Install the push-in retainers (2) to the sill plate (1).
  7. Install the cargo net to the retainers (4).
