Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the taillamp assembly. Refer to Tail Lamp Replacement .
  2. Remove the rear fascia assembly. Refer to Rear Bumper Impact Bar Replacement .

  3. Object Number: 284207  Size: SH
  4. Remove the screws (4) that retain the rear end filler panel.
  5. Remove the nuts (3).
  6. Remove the push nuts that retain the rear end filler panel (1).
  7. Remove the rear end filler panel (1).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 284207  Size: SH
  1. Install the rear end filler panel (1).
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the nuts (3) in order to retain the rear end filler panel (1).
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts (3) to 6 N·m (53 lb in).

  5. Install the screws (4).
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the screws (4) to 1.9 N·m(17 lb in).

  7. Install the rear fascia assembly. Refer to Rear Bumper Impact Bar Replacement .
  8. Install the taillamp assembly. Refer to Tail Lamp Replacement .
