Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
  2. Remove the seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement in Seats.
  3. Remove the sail panels. Refer to Sail Panel Replacement in Seats.
  4. Remove the seat belt guide anchor bolt and guide.
  5. Remove the body lock pillar trim. Refer to Body Lock Pillar Trim Replacement .

  6. Object Number: 421867  Size: SH
  7. Remove the coat hook cover (2).
  8. Remove the fastener.
  9. Pull rear coat hook (1) downward, away from headliner.
  10. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  11. Remove the rear coat hook assembly (1).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 421867  Size: SH
  1. Connect the electrical connector.
  2. Install the rear coat hook assembly (1).
  3. Install the fastener.
  4. Install the coat hook cover (2).
  5. Install the body lock pillar trim. Refer to Body Lock Pillar Trim Replacement .
  6. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  7. Install the seat belt guide and anchor bolt.
  8. Tighten
    Tighten the anchor bolt to 41 N·m (30 lb ft).

  9. Install the sail panel. Refer to Sail Panel Replacement in Seats.
  10. Install the seat back. Refer to Rear Seat Back Replacement in Seats.
  11. Install the seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement in Seats.
