The left and the right power lumbar systems each consist of the following components:
• | A lumbar seat switch |
• | A lumbar motor |
The motor is controlled by the lumbar switch located on the outboard side of each seat. The lumbar motor located under the seat moves the lumbar support toward the occupant's back.
The left and the right power lumbar systems each consist of the following components:
• | The seat/lock switch |
• | The lumbar seat module |
The seat/lock switch, located on the door trim panel of each door, directly controls a seat air pump through the lumbar seat module. The lumbar seat module, located under the seat, inflates or deflates an upper and a lower lumbar bladder, located in the seat back. The seat/lock switch has separate switches for upper and lower lumbar. Pushing the seat/lock switch to inflate actuates the seat air pump which fills one of the lumbar bladders. Pushing the seat/lock switch to deflate allows the bladder to deflate.
