  1. Disconnect the left front door lock/window switch connector.
  2. Place the ignition switch in the RUN position.
  3. Connect a J 39200

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

Go to Step 3

Connect a J 39200 digital mulitmeter (DMM) between the left front door lock/window switch connector terminal N (BRN) and terminal C (BLK).

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

Repair an open or a short to ground in CKT 141 (BRN). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Replace the left front power window switch. Refer to Door Lock and Side Window Switch Replacement .

Inspect G202 for a faulty connection. Refer to Intermittents and Poor Connections Diagnosis in Wiring Systems.

Is there a faulty connection at G202?

Repair an open in CKT 150 (BLK) between the left front power window switch terminal C and G202. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

  2. Place the ignition switch in the RUN position.
  3. Connect a J 39200 digital multimeter (DMM) between the left front power window switch connector terminal K (BRN) and ground.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

Connect the DMM between the left front power window switch connector terminal K (BRN) and terminal P (BLK).

Is the voltage within the specified range?

Repair an open or a short to ground in CKT 141 (BRN). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.
