  1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  2. Close all of the doors.
  3. Measure the voltage between the DAB ACSRY relay terminal B5 and ground.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

Measure the voltage between the DAB ACSRY relay terminal C5 and ground.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

Test CKT 1342 (RED) for an open or a short to ground.

Is there an open or a short to ground?

Measure the voltage between the DAB ACSRY relay terminal B6 and ground.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

Test CKT 40 (ORN) for an open or a short to ground.

Is there an open or short to ground?

Repair the open or short to ground in CKT 40. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Close the doors.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
  3. Cycle the IGN switch to the RUN position.
  4. Cycle the IGN switch to the OFF position.
  5. Measure the voltage between the DAB ACSRY relay terminal C5 and terminal B7.

Is the voltage within the specified range for approximately 10 minutes, and then open?

10-15 V

Test the following circuits for an open or a short to ground:

    • CKT 4 (BAN)
    • CKT 1342 (RED)

Is there an open or a short to ground in any of the CKTs?

Repair the open or short to ground in the faulty CKT. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Ensure that the following C202 terminals are clean and tight:

    • Terminal D6
    • Terminal D2

Are the terminals clean and tight?

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
  2. Disconnect the RFA connector.
  3. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  4. Measure the voltage between the RFA connector terminal F15 and ground.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

Is battery voltage present?
