Lock-Out Prevention
The power door lock switches are disabled when the key is in the ignition
and the driver door is open.

switch for 3 seconds.
Auto Door Lock (ADL)
The ADL feature can be programed to the following 4 modes:
• | ADL Mode 0: No automatic door lock or unlock |
• | ADL Mode 1: All doors lock automatically when the transmission
shifts out of PARK. |
- | All doors lock automatically when the transmission shifts out
of PARK. |
- | The driver door unlocks automatically when the transmission shifts
into PARK. |
- | All doors lock automatically when the transmission shifts out
of PARK. |
- | All doors unlock automatically when the transmission shifts into
PARK. |
Perform the following steps to program the ALD mode:
- Turn ON the ignition.
- Place the vehicle in PARK.
- Close all of the doors.
- Press and hold the door lock switch in the LOCK position.
- While holding the door lock switch, press the LOCK button on the
vehicle's transmitter.
After the initial activation of the transmitter LOCK button, each
additional activation will change the ADL mode to the next one.
During this customization procedure, the power door locks will cycle
to provide feedback of the ADL mode change. Since Mode 0 has no ADL
functions, the power door locks do not cycle when this mode is entered.
When the door lock switch is released, the ADL remains in the current
ADL mode.
Delayed Locking
The delayed locking feature allows the driver to delay the locking of
the vehicle after the lock switch has been activated.
Upon activating the lock switch with the driver door open, a chime sounds
in order to let the driver know that the delayed locking mode is engaged.
After all of the doors have been closed for 5 seconds, the doors
will lock automatically. If any door is opened before the 5 seconds
have elapsed, the timer will reset when all of the doors have closed. This
feature may be programed ON or OFF for each transmitter.
You must activate the delayed locking feature with the scan tool before
it can be enabled. The RFA module software for the delayed locking feature
