Did you perform the Audible Warnings System Check before processing?

1. Insert the key in the ignition switch.
2. Open the left front door.
3. Disconnect the body control module (MALL) connector C2.
4. Measure the resistance from connector C2 terminal D2 to ground.

Is the measured resistance less than the specified value?

5 ohms

Does the keyless entry work?

Go to Step 6

Go to Remote Keyless Entry System Check

Inspect the MALL module connector C2 for proper terminal contact.

Is the contact OK?

--

Go to Step 5

Replace the MALL module.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Audible Warnings System Check

Inspect CKT 653 (DK BLU/WHT) for an open.

Is the circuit OK?

--

Go to Step 7

Go to Step 10

1. Disconnect the remote function actuator (RFA) module.
2. Measure the voltage from terminal E9 (harness side) to ground.

Is the measured resistance less than the specified value?

5 ohms

Go to Step 11

Go to Step 8

1. Inspect CKT 80 (LT GRN) for an open.
2. Inspect CKT 150 (BLK) for an open.

Are the circuits OK?

Go to Step 9

Go to Step 10

1. Inspect connector C202 for proper connection at terminal B1 and terminal B2.
2. Inspect the ignition key warning switch for proper operation.

Are the components OK?

Go to Audible Warnings System Check

--

Repair the open in CKT 80 (LT GRN) or in CKT 150 (BLK).

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Audible Warnings System Check

--

Inspect the RFA module connector for proper terminal contact.

Is the contact OK?

Go to Step 12

Replace the RFA module.

Is the repair complete?
