Compact Disc (CD) Skip
The compact disc (CD) player has a shock absorbing system. Only under
extreme operating temperatures or severe shock or vibration will the compact
disc player skip or mute. If the customer travels a abnormally rough
road, a skip condition may be normal. Test drive the vehicle on a normal
road with a known good CD. If the condition is still present,
replace the compact disc (CD) player.
Compact Disc (CD) Player Error or Ejects
• | Inspect the CD for scratches or smudges and clean it if necessary. |
• | Verify that the CDs and or CD magazine are being loaded correctly. |
• | Verify that the compact disc player door is closed. |
• | During periods of high humidity the CD or the CD player lens may
