Was the Wiper/Washer System Check performed?

  1. Disconnect the wiper motor connector C1.
  2. Set the ignition switch to RUN.
  3. Set the wiper switch to OFF.
  4. Measure the voltage from connector C1, terminal B, to ground with a DMM.

Is the measurement within the specified values?

10.5-15 V

Go to Step 3

Check for a short to voltage in CKT 91.

Is a short present?

Replace the wiper/washer switch. Refer to Multifunction Turn Signal Lever Replacement - On Vehicle .

Is the replacement complete?

  1. Disconnect the wiper motor connector C2.
  2. Measure the voltage from connector C2, terminal A, to ground with a DMM.

Is the measurement within the specified values?

10.5-15 V

Repair the short to voltage in CKT 91.
