Twilight Sentinel (Buick)

The twilight sentinel keeps the lamps on for a delay period (3-180 seconds) under the following conditions:

    • The gear selector is in the PARK position.
    • The ambient light sensor indicates darkness.
    • The ignition switch is turned to the OFF position.

The twilight sentinel can be manually turned off by holding the twilight sentinel switch to the OFF position on the headlamp switch. When the previous conditions are met and the switch is released, the twilight sentinel has a minimum delay. The twilight sentinel feature does not affect the operation of the daytime running lamps (DRL).

Twilight Sentinel (Oldsmobile)

The twilight sentinel keeps the lamps on for a delay period (3-180 seconds) under the following conditions:

    • The twilight sentinel switch in the panel dimming switch is in the ON position.
    • The gear selector is in the PARK position.
    • The ambient light sensor indicates darkness.
    • The ignition switch is turned to the OFF position.

The twilight sentinel feature does not affect the operation of the daytime running lamps (DRL).
