  1. Disconnect the body control module (MALL) connector C1.
  2. Measure the voltage between the MALL module connector C1 cavity G (ORN) and ground.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

Go to Step 3

  1. Disconnect the MALL module connector C2.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  3. Measure the voltage between the MALL module connector C2 cavity C13 (PNK) and ground.

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

Measure the voltage between the MALL module connector C1 cavity G (ORN) and cavity D (BLK).

Is the voltage within the specified range?

10-15 V

Test CKT 156 (WHT) for an open between S356 and the MALL module. Refer to Testing for Continuity in Wiring Repairs.

Is CKT 156 OK?

Repair the open or the short to ground in CKT 640 (ORN). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Repair the open or short to ground in CKT 39 (PNK). Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Test CKT 1732 (ORN) for an open between S336 and the MALL module. Refer to Testing for Continuity in Wiring Systems.

Is CKT 1732 OK?
