Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement VIN C

Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  2. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement

  3. Object Number: 69929  Size: SH
  4. Remove the radiator outlet hose (2) from the engine.
  5. Remove the radiator outlet hose (2) from the radiator.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 69929  Size: SH
  1. Install the radiator outlet hose (2) to the engine.
  2. Install the radiator outlet hose (2) to the radiator.
  3. Refill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling
  4. Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement
  5. Start the engine.
  6. Check for leaks.

Removal Procedure

Tools Required

J 37097-A Heater Hose Clamp Tool

    Caution: Unless directed otherwise, the ignition and start switch must be in the OFF or LOCK position, and all electrical loads must be OFF before servicing any electrical component. Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent an electrical spark should a tool or equipment come in contact with an exposed electrical terminal. Failure to follow these precautions may result in personal injury and/or damage to the vehicle or its components.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Drain the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  3. Remove the lower front air defletor.
  4. Remove the upper tie bar.

  5. Object Number: 165598  Size: SH
  6. Remove the outlet radiator hose clamp from the engine.
  7. Remove the outlet raditor hose from the engine.

  8. Object Number: 165600  Size: SH
  9. Remove the outlet radiator hose clamp from the radiator.
  10. Remove the outlet radiator hose from the radiator.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 165600  Size: SH
  1. Install the outlet radiator hose to the radiator.
  2. Install the outlet radiator hose clamp to the radiator.

  3. Object Number: 165598  Size: SH
  4. Install the outlet radiator hose to the engine.
  5. Install the outlet raditor hose clamp to the engine.
  6. Install the lower front air deflector.
  7. Fill the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
  8. Start the engine and checks for leaks.
  9. Install the upper tie bar.
