Blower Motor Noise

Foreign material is on the fan.

Remove the material. Reuse the blower motor if possible.

Blower Motor Noise

The fan blades are broken or missing .

Replace the motor and fan assembly.

The blower motor has internal damage.

Replace the motor and fan assembly.

A/C Compressor Noise

The compressor mounting bracket fasteners are not torqued to specifications.

Inspect the compressor bracket to engine torque.

A/C Compressor Noise

The compressor mounting fasteners are not torqued to specifications.

Inspect the compressor to bracket torque.

A/C Compressor Noise

The A/C compressor pulley bearing is faulty.

Replace the A/C compressor pulley and bearing.

A/C Compressor Noise

The belt slips.

Inspect the belt tensioner, the idler pulley and/or the belt.

A/C Refrigerant Lines/Hoses Noise

The lines or hoses are grounded.

Reposition the A/C lines or the hoses.

A/C Refrigerant Lines/Hoses Noise

The lines or hoses rub on the other components

Reposition and secure the lines and the hoses.

HVAC Module Noise

Foreign material is in the A/C module.

Remove the material from the case.

HVAC Module Noise

The A/C module is not torqued to specifications.

Torque the A/C module to specifications.

HVAC Module Noise

The actuator door is damaged.

Repair or replace the door(s).
