- Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
- Disconnect the HVAC programmer connector.
- Disconnect the blower control module connector.
- Connect a fused jumper across the blower motor connector terminal A
and terminal B.
- Measure the resistance between the HVAC programmer connector terminal D9
and ground. Refer to
Testing for Continuity
in Wiring Systems.
Is the resistance less than the specified value?

- Inspect CKT 754 for a short to voltage.
- Inspect the HVAC programmer connector terminal D9 for proper
terminal contact. Refer to

- If OK, replace the HVAC programmer. Refer to

- Inspect the IP fuse block HVAC blower fuse.
- Inspect CKT 761 and CKT 65 for an open or for a
short to ground. Refer to
