Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 210987  Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear air intake duct clamps.
  2. Remove the rear air intake duct.

  3. Object Number: 183601  Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the IAT sensor connector from the air cleaner. Refer to Intake Air Temperature Sensor Replacement .

  5. Object Number: 12320  Size: SH
  6. Release the air cleaner assembly hold down clamps.
  7. Remove the air filter element.
  8. Inspect the air filter element for dust, dirt, and water.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 12320  Size: SH
  1. Install the air filter element.
  2. Install the hold down clamps.

  3. Object Number: 183601  Size: SH
  4. Install the IAT sensor connector.

  5. Object Number: 12319  Size: SH
  6. Install the rear air intake duct.
  7. Tighten
    Tighten the clamps to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
