Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the throttle body air inlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement for the 3.5L engine and Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement for the 3.6L engine.

    2. Object Number: 164784 Size: SH
  2. Remove the pressure test hole plug (38).

Installation Procedure
  1. Apply sealant GM P/N 12345382 or equivalent to the pressure test hole plug.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 164784 Size: SH
  2. Install the pressure test hole plug (38).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the pressure test hole plug  (38) to 12 N·m (106 lb in).

  3. Install the throttle body air inlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement for the 3.5L engine and Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement for the 3.6L engine.
