The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom described in the PI.
Condition/Concern:
Radio displays "Cal Error" after preforming a radio set up with the Tech 2. The Tech 2 has a software issue which will cause the radio to display "Cal Error" after the set up procedure is completed and the ignition is cycled.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Build the vehicle as a 2003 and complete the set up radio procedure.
