This bulletin is being revised to correct parts information. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 04-08-64-017 (Section 08 - Body and Accessories).
Recent part reviews indicated that the majority of the complete power outside rearview mirrors replaced under warranty should have been repaired using the motor assemblies that are currently released into the parts system. The motor assemblies will interchange from side to side. Two motors are released for service repairs. One motor, P/N 88952870, is used for vehicles with memory seats. For non-memory seat equipped vehicles, use P/N 88952871. For power outside rearview mirror replacement, refer to SI Document ID #828499.
