Voltage is applied through following circuits at all times to the following components:
• | IP Lighter and Power Drop Connector: 2540 |
• | LR Lighter: 1440 |
• | RR Lighter: 1940 |
This voltage is applied through the corresponding fuse.
The cigar lighter contains a heating element. When the heating element is pushed in, the circuit is completed to ground through circuit 1450 (IP lighter) and 750 (rear lighter). The cigar lighter begins to heat. When the element is sufficiently heated, the cigar lighter opens the circuit.
Voltage is also applied to the power drop connector through its corresponding fuse, when the ignition switch is in the ACCY or RUN position. Power is also supplied to the power drop connector at all times through its corresponding fuse. The power drop connector can be used for a permanent connection of an accessory. Ground will also be applied to the accessory through circuit 1450.
