The following components operate at all times (even with the ignition switch in the LOCK position and an open vehicle door):

Did you perform the BCM Diagnostic System Check?

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Body Control System in Body Control System

1. Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
2. Disconnect the RAP relay.
3. Inspect the radio and the power windows for correct operation.

Do the radio and the power windows operate correctly?

Use a J 39200 digital multimeter (DMM) in order to check continuity between the RAP relay terminal A2 and terminal C1 (relay side).

Is there continuity?

Go to Step 6

Repair short to B+ in circuit 75.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 7

Replace the RAP relay.

Is the repair complete?

1. Replace the BCM. Refer to Body Control Module Replacement in Body Control System.
2. Perform the Setup New BCM procedure. Refer to Body Control Module (BCM) Programming/RPO Configuration in Body Control System.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 7

1. Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position.
2. Connect all of the connectors.
3. Install any components that you removed.
