- Disconnect the brake fluid level indicator switch.
- Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
- Connect a fused (3 amp) jumper between the brake fluid
level indicator switch harness connector terminal A (CKT 1650)
and B (CKT 209).
Does the BRAKE indicator still light?

- Replace the brake fluid level indicator switch. Refer to

in Hydraulic Brakes.
- Inspect the system.

- Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
- Connect a Scan Tool
to the Data Link Connector (DLC).
- Disconnect the Electronic Brake Control Module/Electronic Brake
Traction Control Module (EBCM/EBTCM).
- Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
- Command the instrument cluster BRAKE indicator to turn on.
